Ayka, a young woman from Kyrgyzstan living alone in Russia, escapes from hospitals delivery room after giving birth even before her wounds heal. Abandoning her baby to the warmth of the hospital room, she has to go from door to door, as her wounds keep bleeding, looking for work in the cold streets of Russia. As door after door is shut on her face Ayka is running out of time to figure out her ever growing problems. This movie depicts the lives of the Kirghiz women who have to abandon their babies in hospitals of Moscow every year.
