Cemal’s mother, who lives in Germany with her mother after her father’s death, experiences psychological problems and struggles with financial issues. His teacher calls social services, thinking that Cemal deserves to have a better life. Cemal, stays in the institution while his mother is being treated however, he is given to a foster family in another region of Germany after his mother’s suicide attempt.
He forms a friendship with Garry, the old, sick, and grumpy neighbor of his new family. But his only dream is to go to his mother in Istanbul.
